Locums – Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Anesthesiology Opening

• Clinical Role:

  • 1/22/24 – 2/2/24, 2/19/24 – 3/1/24, 3/4/24 – 3/15/24, 4/8/24 – 4/19/24
  • 2-week installments, except that 2/19-3/15 could be a 4-week assignment
  • Preferably all 5 days, 07-3:30, but could be 10 hrs., flexible days
  • 5 shifts at 8 hours are preferred, 4 shifts for 10 hours. 7-330p or 7-530p
  • No Weekends
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Collaborative MD/CRNA relationship
  • NO CALL REQUIREMENTS (do have weekend and day call if interested)
  • Patient ages (children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics): adolescents, adults, geriatrics
  • Types of cases/Specialty mix: Level III Trauma Center. Must be comfortable with all cases General (Laparoscopic cholecystectomy/appy) , Robotic (Gastric Bypass, prostates), vascular (Endo AAA, A-V fistulas, CAE’s), ortho, mastectomies, cystoscopy’s)
  • Support staff available (CRNA’s, MA’s, Scrub Techs):  we have anesthesia techs who do our machine turnovers. Also have scrub techs and first assists, and POA’s who clean the OR’s.
  • Type of charting (EMR, paper): Paper charting
  • Reason for coverage: Staff shortage
  • MA license Now Required, No Exceptions
  • Board Certified Required
  • COVID vaccination Required
