- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible hematology oncology physician
- Tuesday-Friday : 8-4:30 inpatient then clinic at 9-12, 1-4
- Call Coverage 4:30p-8am Tuesday-Friday
- Is this strictly Hem or MedOnc, or a mix? %s of split between the two? SPLIT is 70/30
- Provider is required to make rounds in the hospital prior to clinic hours. (0800-0900) once completed will then see patients in the clinic from 0900-1630
- Number of Physicians in group/setting (excluding missing doc or incoming locum): SOLO
- Support Staff (RNs, LPNs, NPs, PAs, additional): RN, nurse navigators
- Scheduled TOTAL Patient Load (clinic + inpatient): 10 clinic, mostly folks in for tx that day, only stat consult, no new pts will be seen by locum
- Procedures: Possible if needed to perform a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy if needed
- Rounding in hospital: YES 1-10, usually less than more
- If inpatient, list duties (admits, H&P’s, f/u’s, consults, etc.): rounding
- If inpatient, are only oncology patients seen? yes
- Will the physician need to treat AML? Yes, but none new
- Will the physician perform BMT? NO
- Call Responsibilities: Weekdays: EACH day. Call is used for after hour phone calls
- Type of practice (multi-specialty group, single specialty group, private practice, solo, hospital-based, free-standing): solo, hospital based
- Practice Setting (Clinic, inpatient, both): clinic with inpatient duties
- Will the physician stay at one site or multiple (please list): one
- Will our physician be expected to take call for any specialty other than oncology? NO
- Must have at least one year post training experience
- Required: ACLS, BLS, DEA
- EMR: EPIC
