Locums – Brunswick, Maine, Gastroenterology Opening
Clinical Role:

  • Dates of Coverage: immediately for 3 to 6 months or longer depending on hiring of permanent physician
  • Practice Setting:  Combination Outpatient and Hospital-based practice
  • Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 4 days patient care, 1 admin/office day per week. Usually 8 hour days
  • Call Schedule: Every third day and 1:4 weekends
  • Call rotation is Thursday night starting at 6pm to the following Thursday night at 6pm
  • Inpatient call volume is typically 0-6 ne inpatient consults per day
  • Procedures: Endoscopy and EGD are required. No ERCP/EUS procedures
  • Clinical Areas:  Office/Clinic, Hospital
  • How Many Physicians in Your Group?   2
  • Documentation System/EMR:  Epic
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
  • Board Certified - Required
  • ME State License (will accept those willing to obtain) - Required
  • ACLS/BLS - Required
