Clinical Role:

    • Start Date: 11/18/2024
    • 7am - 7am
    • Contract Length: 1 years
    • Shift Details: M-F, 8-5
    • Schedule: 2-3 weekends of 24-hour call coverage (Fri PM-Sun PM)
    • Support staff: APPs, midwives, MAs, front desk/admin assistants
    • Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum 1 week, ideally looking for 2-4 weeks/mo. Ideally looking for 6mo - 1 year commitment
    • Patients per day: 20 patients/day
    • Patient Population/Age: Older adolescents, adults, low income, 60% medicaid
    • Department description: OBGYN clinic Kentucky that works on the following:
    • Adolescent gynecology, Cervical cancer screenings, Contraception, including oral and implantable options, Genetic testing and counseling, Gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomies, Health maintenance, Hormone replacement therapy, In-office ultrasound imaging, Low- and high-risk obstetrics care, Wellness exams
    • EMR: Epic
    • Special procedures: Full scope OBGYN procedures, consults, deliveries, laparoscopies, hysterectomies, C-sections, biopsies,  general surgeries
    • Must have at least 1 year OBGYN experience, experience with typical OBGYN procedures (listed above), experience working with low income individuals highly preferred
    • Practice Setting: Clinic/Private Practice
    • State license Required: No, must be willing to apply for KY license
    • Minimum experience required: 1 year experience required, 3-4 years of experience highly preferred. Experience working with low-income populations strongly preferred
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
    • ACLS – Preferred
    • BLS, DEA – Required
