On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights
Monday-Wednesday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10a, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
Thursday-Sunday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
No Call
Will likely need several APPs (or SFA) for surge coverage
Expectations for orientation: If comfortable with MediTech, 1 orientation shift, 2 shadow shifts, Candidate Parameters
Experienced, high volume, level II trauma center
423 hospital beds; 49 ED beds
70,000 visits/year
Daily admissions: 25%
Consults Per Day: Varies, we have multi-specialty support, and consultant backup 24/7
Patient population: Urban
Trauma level II, 24/7 trauma surgeons on site
Primary Chest Pain Center
Standard EM privileges
EM Physicians on staff per shift: 2-3, Single Coverage, overnight for 4
Board Certified – ABEM Required
BC – EM Residency Trained Required
ACLS, PALS, ATLS Required
