- Looking for Locum Coverage Cardiothoracic-Surgeon! The preferred coverage includes clinic & OR + 24hr call
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30pm clinic/OR & 24hr call
- Coverage start date: March 2025
- Locum to Perm is also a preferred option
- Reason for Coverage: Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage
- Practice Setting: Office/ Hospital/ OR/ Rounding
- Call Schedule: After office hours and weekends
- Trauma Level/Designation: n/a
- Number of Operating Rooms: 1
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18+
- Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery
- Required Duties/Procedures:
- Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG, Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Thoracic Endoscopy Procedures Required: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction, Mediastinal Surgery
- Vascular Surgery Procedures Required: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (Core Valve® System), Mitral Valve Repair
- Board Certification (American Board of Thoracic Surgery) - Required
- Active VA license & DEA - Required, no exceptions
- BLS/ACLS - Required
- Fellowship Training - Required
- Provider must be available for listed dates
