Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening – Tiffin, Ohio Open Dates (2025):

• July 2 (8:00 AM) – July 8 (8:00 AM)
• October 6 (8:00 AM) – October 13 (8:00 AM)
• November 13 (8:00 AM) – November 17 (8:00 AM)
• December 18 (7:00 AM) – December 22 (8:00 AM)

Shift Details:

• Seeking 1-2 locume OB/GYN to help with provide on-call coverage, ongoing
• 24-hour call shifts (8:00 AM to 8:00 AM; December 18 starts at 7:00 AM)
• Out-of-house call with call back
• Coverage includes ER OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery

Facility Details:

• Location: Hospital in Tiffin, Ohio
• Bed Count:
• 10 LDRP
• 3 Postpartum
• 1 Triage
• 12-bed Normal Newborn Nursery (No NICU/Special Care Nursery)

• EMR: EPIC
• Providers on staff: 2 Physicians, 5 Certified Nurse Midwives

  Clinical Scope:
• Must be able to perform C-sections and all OB/GYN-related surgeries
• OB: Average 2–5 newborn admissions per day, 3–4 average daily census
• GYN: 40%–50% of workload; 1–4 surgeries per day
• C-sections: 15%–35% of cases
• Pediatric census: 0–1 every two months

Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required
• Active Ohio Medical License – Required
• Certifications – Required:
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
