Locum NP/PA Opportunity – Home Health Care – Toms River, New Jersey

We’re hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for a unique home health assessment role across multiple counties in New Jersey. Join a float pool team delivering high-quality care—without the demands of prescribing or treatment.

Position Overview:
• Start ASAP – 13-week contract with option to extend
• Flexible scheduling: 40 hours/week within Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–8 PM
• Eight-hour workdays with a one-hour lunch
• Schedules released 2–3 weeks in advance
• Locations: Ocean County (6 providers needed), Middlesex, and Morris Counties
• Conduct 5–6 home health assessments daily
• Get paid for a full day, regardless of patient volume

Role Highlights:
• Assessment-only role: no prescribing or treatment required
• Perform annual risk assessments and chronic condition reviews
• Escalate urgent findings to the patient’s primary care provider
• Occasional A1C tests; other labs handled by the patient
• Provided equipment: iPad, blood pressure cuff, and lab kits

Requirements:
• Active NJ license and NJ Medicare number
• Board Certified in Family Practice
• Comfortable with home visits and independent assessments
