Locum Tenens NP/PA Neurosurgery Opportunity – Marshfield, Wisconsin
Advanced Practice Providers with Neurosurgical Experience Needed

A top-tier facility in Marshfield, WI is seeking a full-time locum NP or PA to support its Neurosurgery team starting in August 2025. This is a dynamic role involving clinic, call, and surgical responsibilities. Multiple providers will be considered to help cover ongoing needs.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Start Date: August 8, 2025

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (10–12 clinic patients per day)

• Call: 1:3 weekday/weekend beeper call – 20-minute response time

• Reason for Need: Full-time FMLA coverage

Clinical Scope:

• Work directly with 2 neurosurgeons

• Surgical first assist duties required

• Must be experienced in cases such as:

• Craniotomies and craniectomies

• Spinal fusions and decompressions

• Aneurysm, tumor, and nerve injury interventions

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform bedside procedures and hospital rounding (NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU, Med/Surg)

• Hospital, ER, and urgent care consults

• Outpatient clinic care: consults, post-op follow-up, fracture care, documentation, and refills

• Assigned and unassigned patient management

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have recent neurosurgery experience (including surgical assist)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred

• Experience in Trauma Level II or III facilities ideal

• Stroke-certified hospital setting
