Locums – Pediatric Critical Care NP
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Residency Requirement: Arizona residents only
Setting: Inpatient – Pediatric ICU Schedule & Shifts

• Shift Type: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Frequency Needed: 2–3 shifts per week
• Confirmed Dates:
• July: 6, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 31
• August: 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 28, 30

Patient Volume & Population

• Patients per Day: 7–15
• Ages: 0–18 years (Pediatric + PICU)
• Department: Pediatrics and PICU
• EMR: Cerner

Skills & Procedures Required

• Intubations
• Central lines
• Arterial lines
• Lumbar punctures
• Pediatric trauma experience (including neurosurgical cases)
• Note: No ECMO, CRRT, or transplant cases

Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Board Certification: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care required)
• AZ NP License: Required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year PICU experience
