Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our outpatient practice in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for a physician dedicated to high-quality patient care, with a focus on geriatric and Medicare Advantage populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient cardiology care, including comprehensive stress testing (exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography)
Perform and interpret echocardiograms (approximately 8 per day)
Manage a daily patient census of 10-14, with appointment times ranging from 20 to 40 minutes
Collaborate with a supportive team, typically with a 1.5:1 MA-to-provider ratio
Required Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
Board certification in vascular ultrasound (RPVI) preferred
Board certification in Echocardiography (Stress Echocardiography)
Board certification in Nuclear Cardiology
Board certification in Cardiac CT
Proficiency in all aspects of stress testing
Practice Details:
Outpatient only – no inpatient responsibilities
Patient base primarily consists of geriatric and Medicare Advantage members
Vascular and TEE procedures performed in practice; nuclear and coronary CTA studies referred to local radiology centers
Emphasis on patient care over RVU or high-volume targets
Dragon dictation software provided for documentation
EMR: eClinicalWorks (transitioning to Athena in mid-2026)

Monday through Friday
