Locums – Emergency Medicine Opening in Tampa, Florida

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Prepared Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Tampa, FL. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and the chance to practice in a busy emergency setting near Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Position Highlights
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3 months
• Schedule: Providers must be willing to cover a fair share of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Annual Volume: 15,000 ED visits
• ED Structure:
– 22 emergency room beds
– 7 fast-track rooms
– Dedicated pediatric treatment room
– Advanced patient monitoring equipment
• Coverage Model: 24 hours of physician coverage
• Admissions: Patients requiring inpatient beds are transferred to the main campus
• Facilities: Must also be willing to work at the main hospital associated with the FSED
• EMR: Meditech P-Doc & M-Modal dictation

Requirements
• Board Certified/Board Prepared via ABEM or AOBEM
• Emergency Medicine residency trained – Required
