Locums – Emergency Medicine Opening in Tampa, Florida

RecruitWell is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Tampa, FL. This role offers flexible scheduling, and state-of-the-art facilities.

Position Highlights
• Start Date: ASAP
• Ongoing need – Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Schedule: Providers must cover an equitable share of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Volume: 9,000 annual ED visits
• Coverage: 24 hours of physician coverage daily
• Facility:
– 10,000 sq. ft. emergency department
– 11 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay
– All private treatment rooms
– Advanced imaging onsite: CT, ultrasound, and radiology

• Admissions: Seamless transfer of admitted patients to the main campus with care handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
• EMR: Meditech P-Doc with M-Modal dictation

Requirements
• Board Certified/Board Eligible via ABEM or AOBEM
• EM residency trained – Required
• Current EM experience within the last 2 years – Required
• Must also be willing to work at the main facility associated with the FSED
