Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity – Central Michigan
Location: Midland and Alma, Michigan (30 minutes from Saginaw)
Position Type: Full-Time, Employed Position Highlights

• Provide care within a dedicated 18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the hospital campus
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Multidisciplinary team including physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapists
• Patients receive three hours of therapy per day
• Real-world simulation therapy (passes for restaurant, grocery store, etc.)
• Subspecialty support available: neurology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, orthopedics

Patient Conditions Treated

• Stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neuropathy, myopathy
• Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome
• Amputation, orthopedic conditions, generalized debility
• Cardiac and pulmonary conditions with rehab needs
• Polyarthritis and multi-trauma cases

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO (U.S. or foreign equivalent)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• New graduates and residents welcome to apply
• Must be eligible for Michigan licensure
