OB Hospitalist + Medical Director Duties
(IMLC Accepted) Position Summary
This role combines clinical OB/GYN hospitalist work with Medical Director responsibilities 
Leadership experience is required Availability / Schedule

• Ideal Start Date: February 2026
• Full-Time Need: Prefer one provider to cover the entire assignment
• Schedule: Flexible
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Ratio: 1:5
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Coverage Model: Scheduled clinic hours + call

Clinical Scope

• Full-scope OB/GYN (OB, GYN, and Surgery)
• Experienced surgeon required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Must be capable of surgical mentoring
• Admissions required
• Assigned rounding patients
• Patients per Shift: 18–24
• Beds in Facility: 14
• Trauma Level: IV
• EMR: Epic

Medical Director Responsibilities

• Stabilize and support department operations
• Implement processes, policies, and workflow improvements
• Mentor and work collaboratively with other providers
• Assist in search and interviewing for a new permanent medical director

Licenses & Certifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN – Required
• Active WA License or IMLC – Required
• Fellowship – Preferred
• BLS – Required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7 years leadership experience – Required
• Experienced OB/GYN surgeon
• Robotic training preferred
• Prior experience as a surgical mentor strongly preferred
