The role supports both assigned and unassigned patients and includes advanced procedural work, making it ideal for providers interested in transitioning into a long-term position.

Schedule & Coverage

• Coverage Type: Clinic and call coverage

• Clinic Volume: Approximately 20 patients per shift

• Call Coverage:

  • Phone consults: Approximately 3

  • Call patients seen: Approximately 5

  • 30-minute call response time required

Practice Setting

• Setting: Hospital-based Gastroenterology practice

• Hospital Size: 192 beds

• Trauma Designation: Level IV

• Stroke Certification: Hospital Stroke Certified

• Patient Assignment: Assigned and unassigned patients

• EMR: MediTech

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic

• Inpatient consults and call coverage

• Advanced GI procedures as required

• ERCP – Required

Candidate Requirements

• Fellowship Trained in Gastroenterology – Required

• Active Kentucky License – Required

• IMLC Accepted

• ACLS & BLS – Required
