Schedule & Availability
  • Full-time position
  • On-call coverage required
  • Participation in required meetings, trainings, and safety drills

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and re-evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide psychiatric medication evaluation and management
  • Prescribe and manage MAT medications with ongoing monitoring
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams
  • Serve in a leadership role on the treatment team
  • Communicate treatment plan updates and service needs to staff
  • Maintain timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and clinical protocols

Licensure, Certification & Education (Required)
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Psychiatric certification or actively working toward certification
  • Unrestricted Vermont APRN license (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience providing psychiatric care and MAT
  • Experience treating adults with:
    • Severe and persistent mental illness
    • Substance use disorders
    • Developmental disabilities and/or complex medical conditions
  • Current knowledge of psychiatric medications
  • EMR proficiency
  • Strong clinical judgment, compassion, and communication skills

Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation with Vermont-required insurance coverage
  • Successful criminal background check upon hire
  • Compliance with agency policies, code of conduct, and ethics standards

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $160,000–$165,000 (based on experience)
