Position Highlights:

Consistent 2-week per month schedule

Structured blend of procedures, clinic, and inpatient care

Dedicated procedural block time during the week

No ERCP or EUS required

Supportive environment with anesthesia onsite
Schedule & Coverage

Coverage: 2 weeks per month

Block schedule: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

24-hour call throughout assignment
Weekday Schedule (M–F):

8-hour workdays
-
Morning procedures (typically Wed–Fri, occasional Monday):

7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (~4.5 hours)

Clinic/office time: ~4 hours (as needed)

Inpatient rounding and consults in the afternoon
Weekend Schedule:

Rounding and procedures as needed

24-hour call coverage
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Hospital (132 beds)
Patient population: Adults (18+)
Responsibilities Include:

Performing scheduled GI procedures
-
Managing inpatient consults and rounding
-
Providing clinic/office visits as needed

Delivering continuous call coverage
-
Evaluating and treating a variety of GI conditions
Procedures:

General GI procedures
-
No ERCP or EUS required
Support & Technology

Anesthesia onsite for procedural support

Efficient hospital workflow with balanced clinical responsibilities

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Active Pennsylvania license – required
-
IMLC accepted
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required
