Clinical Role
Join a fast-paced urgent care team as a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, providing high-quality, patient-centered care for acute illnesses and injuries. This role offers flexibility with as-needed scheduling and the opportunity to work independently in a supportive clinical environment.

Schedule & Coverage
- PRN/as-needed coverage
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- No set schedule; flexible based on coverage needs
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Urgent Care
Patient Population: All ages
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
- Performing procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (X-rays, labs, etc.)
- Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
- Providing patient education and follow-up care instructions
- Maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR
- Ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff as needed

- Laceration repair (suturing)
- Splinting
- Incision and drainage
- Wound care
- Minor surgical procedures

Requirements
- Current NP or PA license – required
- Active state license and DEA – required
- Board Certified (or eligible if recently graduated) – required
- BLS – required (ACLS preferred)
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience – preferred
- Ability to perform minor procedures – required
