  • ~11 C-sections
• Daily Census: 1–3 deliveries per 24 hours

Responsibilities

• OB rounding
• Coverage for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Emergent GYN procedures
• Assigned and unassigned patients

• Hospitalist support staff
• 24/7 Anesthesiology support
• 24/7 Radiology support
• Level I nursery (no NICU on-site)
• High-risk transfers (30–45 minutes)

Additional Details

• Provider housed in hospital apartments adjacent to facility
• Must be within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
• Admissions required
• Hospital will call provider directly via cell phone
