Locums – Erie, Pennsylvania – Urgent Care NP/PA Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Start date: November 2, 2026

• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience OR 1 year of emergency medicine experience required

• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics (6 months and older)

• Must be proficient with splinting, wound care, suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, and IVs

• Drive-in candidates only (must live within a 2–3 hour radius)

• Coverage needed Monday through Sunday

• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM shifts

• Provider will rotate between four clinic locations, all within 30 miles of one another

• Independent practice with physician support available remotely when needed

• Onsite support includes medical assistants and radiology technicians

• Average patient volume of 3–4 patients per hour

• Typical cases include cold and flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, wound care, and other low-acuity urgent care conditions

• High-acuity patients are referred to the local emergency department

  • Suturing/Wound Care/I&Ds

  • Drawing Blood/IVs

  • Working Independently

  • Pediatrics
