Permanent Vermont

Provide full-scope midwifery care in both the outpatient clinic and hospital setting
Join four OB/GYN physicians and a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, supported by an experienced, highly autonomous nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and pediatricians
The practice facilitates approximately 300 births annually and includes an office located adjacent to Labor & Delivery for use while on call
Call responsibilities include serving as first call for OB patients, typically consisting of one 24-hour shift per week and one weekend per month

Current RN and Certified Nurse Midwife licensure through the Vermont State Board of Nursing
Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
DEA registration or the ability to obtain upon hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Minimum of two years of Certified Nurse Midwife experience is preferred

Ultrasound assessment and interpretation
Gynecologic procedures including IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, incision and drainage procedures, and colposcopy
First assist experience during Cesarean sections
Both outpatient and hospital-based women's health practice
Quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
