  • December 21 at 7:00 AM – January 4 at 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Approximately 2 consecutive weeks with 1 weekend
• Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: Yes — 1 week and 1 weekend of call
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital Only
• Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM, with 5:00 PM end time during the ending week
• Patient Volume: Dependent on consult volume

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital rounding
• Echo interpretation
• Cardiology consultations
• Procedures:
  • Echo reading
  • TEE
  • Cardioversion
  • Cardiac catheterization

Clinical Setting & Support

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Primary physician coverage in the hospital
• APP support in the morning
• Second physician coverage in the afternoon
• Reason for Coverage: Permanent physician retirement; coverage needed while recruiting for a permanent replacement
