  • Duties include Outpatient and Inpatient including call coverage
  • Solo coverage
  • Average daily patients during clinic: 25
  • Surgical case volume for elective cases is up to 8
  • Average surgical inpatient census is 2
  • Average number of daily admissions is 1
  • Locum’s surgeon does not respond to codes
  • Will cover consults and procedures in ED during call coverage
  • Procedures include upper and lower scopes, gall bladder and appendix removal, food bolus, bowel obstruction and hernia repair
