  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes –staff OBs and OR assist
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
  • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
  • Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes – OB on call within the local community docs.
  • NICU Level: III w/ 2 neonatologists
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 94
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 20
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 274
  • MFM onsite? Yes, during the day, however 24/7 telemedicine
  • Residency Program & Type? No
  • In-house Anesthesia? Yes, during the day - on call 24/7
  • Other specifics that would be important to share with the candidates: OBHG hospitalists work very closely with MFMs. NO CNMs.
