New Grads Welcome - Client Will Train - Northern New Jersey Neurosurgery PA Job

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible physician assistant
  • New grads welcome – client willing to train and mentor
  • Reason for need: provider relocation
  • Client has several locations in Northern New Jersey – you’d rotate through multiple settings
  • You’d start out in neurosurgery and possibly expand to orthopedics down the line
  • Mix of call, OR, and in-office
  • You’d have office hours but the main focus will be assisting in surgery
  • Some nights and weekends required – on call pay is paid separately from regular pay and is compensated hourly
  • Overnight call is shared among the 6-7 APPs – typically 1x per week is the normal
  • Weekend call is usually once every 6-7 weekends
  • Organization prides themselves on being flexible with their scheduling
  • The organization employs four neurosurgeons, a neurologist, two physiatrists, a neuropsychologist, and 5+ experienced APPs
  • Work with a very friendly staff that works well together
  • Very strong referral base
