Locum – La Mesa, California, OB/GYN - Hospitalist Job

  • Shifts per month needed: 5-7 shifts per block
  • Shift times: 7:30a-7:30a
  • EMR: Cerner
  • NICU level: 2
  • Expected patients per day: 6-20
  • Facility average deliveries per month: 231
  • Type of patients, cases, procedures distribution: We cover 2 midwife clinics for OB inpatient, a Community Health Clinic nights and weekends and an occasional private group. We cover all drop-ins. We see a good portion of patients with no prenatal care. 70-80% OB, 20-30% GYN. We cover the emergency room and do emergency GYN procedures.
  • BC OBGYN or truly board eligible will be considered
  • Active license required
  • Specific procedures required: Must be able to do c-sections and emergency GYN; laparoscopy
