- This is a permanent position
- 7 to 8, 24-hour in-house shifts per month or on average 2 days/week
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABOG or AOBOG)
- Call Coverage for Community Providers as scheduled, will be responsible for managing all their patients during the coverage period.
- Not responsible for patient phone calls while covering for the community providers
- NST interpretations, including interpretations for community providers
- Circumcisions
- Participation in Simulation/Drills and nursing education
- EMR – EPIC
- Consult Expectations: Expected to respond to consults as soon as requested unless you are in the middle of a clinical situation that precludes you from responding immediately (such as delivery, surgery, etc.)
- The note should be in the chart prior to the end of your shift. However, we do ask that you communicate your recommendations to the requesting provider once the consult is complete in case you are not able to get your note completed immediately.
