Locums – Northern Coastal Michigan Hospitalist Job

• Clinical Role:

  • Start May 2023 - on going need 
  • Board Certified or Eligible Hospitalist IM or FP trained
  • Minimum 5 shifts per month required 
  • 45 bed hospital on Lake Michigan 
  • Traverse City is closest airport 
  • OPEN ICU  (6 bed ICU)
  • Hospitalist must be comfortable with and have case logs for procedures - Central Lines, Vent Mgmt., Intubation 
  • Days only 7AM - 7PM
  • 2 providers on per day
  • Telehospitalist service at night 
  • Procedures required central lines, vent management, intubation 
  • Hospitalists run codes & RRT 
  • Daily census is 8-12 and 1-3 admits (9-15 patients per day total)
  • Temp privileges available 
  • EMR: Meditech
