Locums – Southern New Jersey Vascular Surgery Call Coverage

  • Seeking multiple board certified or truly board eligible vascular surgeons
  • Need is ASAP and for at least 90 days
  • No clinic coverage
  • Needs include a) weekday night call coverage (5p-7a) and b) weekend coverage (Friday at 5p through Monday at 7a)
  • Need is at three local facilities
  • You have the ability to pick up shifts that fit your schedule
  • 100% vascular surgery only
  • Client estimates about 5 consults per day
  • Weekend census TBD
  • No clinic work required
  • No elective procedures planned at this time (another surgeon will be scheduled for these)
  • Call can be taken off site – must be within 30 minute radius (hotel provided, if needed) in case you need to come in, depending on acuity
  • Work alongside a surgical PA who can assist with triage, documentation, etc.
  • Client does not foresee a lot of procedures
  • Required procedures include angiograms, endovascular procedures for aortic aneurysm, ability to deal with vascular occlusion of extremities
  • EMR: EPIC

  • Local hospital system in Southern New Jersey
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required
  • Rapid credentialing available
