  • Practice Setting: Hospital-Based and comfortable with stroke call in a comprehensive stroke center
  • Reason for Need: Replacement of neurologist who retired
  • Schedule (Shifts and Hours): Sunday - Saturday, 8a - 5p
  • Call Ratio: 1:3
  • Percent of the Practice that is Adult:  100%
  • Percent of the Practice that is Outpatient: 10%
  • Percent of the Practice that is Inpatient:   87%
  • Percent of the Practice that is Rehab: 3%
  • Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: Variable
  • 12 physicians in group
  • 5 APPs in group
  • Lab Onsite and X-Ray Onsite
  • Office Ancillary Staff:  2 RNs, 9 MAs, 9 Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs)
  • Office Equipment:  NCV, EMG, EEG
  • EMR:  Meditech (converting to EPIC in October 2023)
  • Required Neurology Procedures: Radiologic Exam Interpretation, Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps, Lumbar Puncture, Thrombolytic Therapy, EEG (Electroencephalogram), Brain Death Exam, EMG (Electromyogram)
  • Trauma Level/Designation:  Community Based Hospital
