- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible physiatrist
- Permanent job opening
- Reason for need: physician relocation
- Inpatient rehab
- Acute care hospital setting
- 30 bed rehab unit
- Work along a service chief, another staff physiatrist, and two PAs
- Unit typically runs at 77% occupancy
- See 12-13 patients per day
- You’d work Monday-Friday
- No night call
- You’d be responsible for morning rounds, hand offs to the medicine team in the evening, team conference 3x a week, family meetings patient discharge, documentation, face-to-face with each patient on the unit, etc.
- You’d cover 10 weekends a year
- You’d have one four hour session a week in an outpatient follow up setting
- Most of the time these are your own patients who were discharged from rehab
- EMR: EPIC
