  • Clinical Role:

    • Start ASAP
    • Contract Length: 1 year ongoing
    • Willing to accept providers who do not want to take call
    • Clinic – (must be within 30 minutes from the facility or there is a call room providers can stay in)
    • Call 1:4 with (3) Midwives in rotation but must be on back-up
    • Night and weekend call
    • Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a-5p with lunch break – night call 5p-8a and weekend call 5p Friday – 8aMonday
    • Support staff: midwives, PA, and full clinical and clerical staff
    • Amount of coverage needed per month: 2 FTE
    • Patients per day varies 1300 deliveries a year: 65-70 births per month
    • Patient population/age varies
    • Minimally invasive in-office procedures including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, sono-hysterograms, and LEEP procedures
    • High-Risk OB unit/following
    • Minimally invasive surgeries, such as laparoscopic hysterectomies, robotic surgeries, and surgery for urinary incontinence.
    • Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecologist, and Gynecology Oncology support are locally available for collaborative care.
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Special procedures: pressing need can perform procedures – IE: Novasure (Thermal Endometrial Ablation), Colposcopy, Cryotherapy and LEEP, Endometrial Biopsy, Sonohysterograpy and Hysteroscopy, and Tubal are a plus, also IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removals
    • Hospital – OBGYN Center- Level III NICU
    • Board Certification: OBGYN – BC
    • License required: MUST have NC license
    • DEA: yes
    • Minimum experience required: 2 years
