Oakland, California, Primary Care Physician Assistant Job

  • Seeking multiple board certified or truly board eligible physician assistants
  • Must have 6+ months post training experience
  • FQHC setting
  • Split your time between working in the clinic and working off-site events
  • For clinic days, they see about 20 patients per day
  • For off-site events, the staff usually carpools – at these events, the mobile team provides vaccinations.  They are looking to make it a mini clinic with a PA – providing BP checks, A1c and other screenings
  • Work Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
  • Fully onboarded providers see 20-24 patients per day
  • Work alongside ~10 providers
  • You’d see all ages
  • Outpatient only
  • Organization offers the following services: primary care, pediatrics podiatry, optometry, and dental
  • EMR: EPIC

  • Salary is dependent upon experience
  • Full benefits
  • Vacation time is accrued from Day 1- up to three weeks total Year 1
  • Sick time accrues, as well (up to 96 hours per year)
  • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and boosted
  • Credentialing takes 30-60 days
