Locums - San Antonio, Texas, Emergency Medicine Job

  • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a 12 & 24 hour shifts available
  • Facility Annual Volume: ED Volume: 24k-26k
  • Physician Coverage Model: 24 Hr. Shift Times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
  • APP Coverage Model: 12 Hr. Shift Times: 11a-11p
  • 4 Minimum Shifts/Month
  • No Call
  • Weekend Requirements
  • ED PPH: 2.5-3
  • ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 12
  • 12 Hospital Beds
  • Residency Requirements:  MUST have successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine. Any physician falling under the “grandfather clause” declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will NOT qualify. Fellowship in Emergency Medicine will not qualify, they must have done a EM residency.
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible
  • Board Eligible Physicians: ACLS, PALS and ATLS required, ABEM/AOBEM Certified Physicians not required to carry life certifications
