Locums - Joplin, Missouri, Hematology/Oncology Opening

  • Coverage needs: ASAP - Ongoing
  • Monday to Friday 7A - 5P one week per month, 24 hr. on-call coverage for 1 to 2 weekends per month
  • Would like a provider who can give 2 weeks per month
  • 2 Fulltime Physicians and 2 Fulltime APP that staff the clinic.
  • Duties:  Primarily Hematology patients
  • Procedures:  Consults, follow-ups - possible bone marrow
  • Call Type: beeper with some consultation
  • EMR: Epic
  • Home to the latest in cancer technology and treatments, including DaVinci® robotic assisted surgery, Elekta Versa HD, the most advanced linear accelerator in the region offering IMRT stereotactic radiation treatment and 3D radiotherapy, PET/CT scans, prostate cancer treatment with Space OAR Hydrogel and the region’s only automated breast ultrasound (ABUS).
  • Fellowship preferred
  • BC/BE – required
  • Active MO license – required
  • ACLS, ATLS, BLS - required
