Locums – Essex County, New Jersey, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

  • Expected timeframe for need: ASAP – Feb 2024
  • Root cause for opening req: Program support as we ramp up to a full-time program.
  • EMR used: Currently SoftMed but transitioning to EPIC in Oct. 2023.
  • Expected patients per day: 5 to 15
  • Will the site accept board eligible providers (assuming they’ve passed the first part of exams) or only board certified providers? will take Board Eligible and Board Certified
  • Is COVID vaccine required, or will the site allow exemption requests? TBD
  • NICU Level: Level II
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 125
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists(monthly): 38
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 200
