  • Will the site accept board eligible providers (assuming they’ve passed first part of exams) or only board certified providers? Will take Truly Board Eligible and Board Certified
  • Is COVID vaccine required, or will the site allow exemption requests? TBD
  • NICU Level: II – 32 weeks gestation and above.  Baby-Friendly Hospital
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 158
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 125
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 325
  • MFM onsite?  No. UVA MFM supports program

  • In-house Anesthesia? Yes
  • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes, emergent only
  • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: on an as needed basis- pediatricians perform them
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist:  Yes, as needed or when available
  • 2.0 program with MD and CNM 24/7
  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: yes
