Locums – Springfield, Massachusetts, Emergency Medicine Opening

  • 15 shifts per month. Nights - 11p-8a
  • 44 beds
  • Annual ER volume: 60,000
  • 10 ED physicians in group
  • Percent of ED patients transferred each day: 1-2 per day out of 150 patients
  • 30% total ED volume staffed by fast track
  • Locum will have to supervise APPs
  • EMR: Meditrack
  • ED will respond to house codes or airway
  • Local Preferred
  • Board Certified - ABEM or AOBEM - Required or BE within 5 years of residency. (Will not consider FM or IM)
  • MA licensed or in process - Required, No exceptions
