Locums – Richmond, Virginia, Pediatric Hospitalist Opening

  • ASAP – Ongoing Need
  • Shift: 12 Hour shifts- 7am to 7pm
  • Newborn Nursery: Timely discharges, well baby patient management
  • NICU Specific – Pediatricians cover well babies
  • Days Only, No Nights
  • Subspeciality Back Up: No Cardiac Surgery except for PDA’s, No ECMO. There is on-site cardiology, with additional support from VCU subspecialities
  • NICU Nursery Bed Size: 50
  • Average Daily Census: Nursery ADC 27.9
  • NICU SPECIFIC: Staffing Model: 2-day shifts and 1 night shift daily. 6 doc model, no NNP coverage.
  • Annual Births: 5,342
  • APP Support: N/A
  • EMR: PremieHR, MediTech
  • Daily Patient Load: NBN: 25 / High 30’s
  • Facility Bed Size: 340
  • NICU/PICU Level III
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, DEA – Required
  • Active VA License (will accept those that need to apply)
