Locums – Bronx, New York, Emergency Medicine Job

  • Hospital system encompasses 3 hospitals which Emergency Physicians are cross- credentialed at which allows for more open shift availability 
  • Locums only or locums-to-permanent is possible  
  • Day and Night shifts available
  • Shifts are 8,9,10, or 12 hr shifts  
  • 10+ shifts per month available per month 
  • Must be Emergency Medicine Residency Trained 
  • True BE (within 5yrs of completing residency) or Board Certified required by ABEM / ABOEM (not PC or other boards) 
  • Join teaching hospital with 30+ Full Time Emergency Physicians 
  • Unprecedented support this is a major teaching center with one of the largest Emergency Medicine residency programs in the country
  • Annual volume is 275k
  • 24/7 emergency cardiology program for caths, CHF, and transplants
  • 24/7 Stroke program
  • Full support of  ~30 APPs, and 87+ RNs & PCTs
  • Preference is local candidates within driving distance, however client has flexibility for blocks of locums coverage  
  • Covid vaccination required
  • Must have an active / unrestricted NY license  
  • Minimum of 5 shifts per month of availability is required prefer those whom can offer more on consistent basis
