Locums-to-Perm – Mt. Shasta, California, Urgent Need Family Practice/Obstetrics Opening

• Clinical Role:

  • ASAP – Ongoing Need
  • Schedule: 1-2 weeks of Hospital OB Call each month and 4-8 days in the clinic for general GYN patients (consecutive)
  • Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
  • Duties: Must be qualified to handle C-Sections
  • FTE: Would prefer FT but willing to hire PT. 1-2 weeks in clinic and 1 week of call per month
  • Required Procedures: OB procedures, C-Sections and minor family practice procedures
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: Mid-levels and office support they are clinic based
  • Reason for Coverage: coverage needs, while we recruit- would consider Locums to Perm, PT or FT
  • Clinic-based provider with 0-1 hospital admission
  • Clinic Patients Per Day: 15-17
  • Types of cases: a variety of Family Practice and OB types of cases
  • Number of deliveries: 94 a year C-sections: approx. 40/year
  • In house anesthesia? 15 min call response time
  • Board Certified Family Medicine Preferred but will consider BE
  • Active CA License – Required
  • Residency Requirements/Fellowship: OB Fellowship Required
  • ACLS, DEA and PALS for peds call
