Locums – Gaylord, Michigan, CRNA Opening (Will accept providers needing to obtain license)
Clinical Role:

    • Full time need starting May or sooner. Monday-Friday with 6 call shifts/month
    • Practice Setting: Anesthesia coverage for the hospital
    • Schedule (Shifts/Hours): 6:45a-3:15p (with .5 lunch 8hr total) and 6:45a-5:15p (with .5 lunch 10hr total)
    • Call Preferred - 6 call shifts/month - Weekend call is Fri (3p or 7p) to Mon (7a).  Mon-Thur call is 7a-7a.
    • Call is Beeper call.  If it is a weekday the provider on call will be covering a room during the day.   M-F The ORs operate from 7am - 5 pm with the first cases starting at 0730.   They run 2 rooms until 5 pm and 3 rooms until 3 pm during the week.   There is only one call team available after 5 pm on the weekdays, holidays, and weekends. 
    • Documentation System/EMR: Meditech
    • Call coverage only
    • Trauma Level IV
    • Annual ER Volume: Approximately 19,000 annually
    • Description of OR Staff: Traditional tech, RN
    • Number of Operating Rooms:  5 OR's 2 procedure rooms
    • We prefer experienced providers capable of servicing level 4 trauma facility with heavy general surgery and GYN, labor & delivery
    • Patient Ages: Primarily Adult, pediatrics are transferred out
    • Procedures Required:  General Surgical Cases Adult, Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases
    • Active MI license – Required - Will Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License
    • No New Grads
    • Covid vaccinated - Required
    • BLS/ACLS - Required
    • Board Certified – Required
