- Clinical Role:
- Seeking a physician Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Permanent employment opportunity
- 370 hospital beds
- Average:
- 125-130 per night
- APP provides cross coverage. They are addressing about 100 patients per night.
- Closed ICU. Fully staffed ER. ICU is staffed with fellows/residents. No in-house ICU attending but fellows run it
- Procedures are not required but physicians are able to do them if they have the clearance to do so
- House staff usually covers the emergent needs
- Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to assigned patient population
- Maintain timely and appropriate documentation of such care
- Actively participate in medical staff duties
- See any cross coverage that arises, ICU transfers, plus 7-10 admits
- Report to codes and rapids to assist and oversee transition of care
- Provide support to APPs
- Schedule:
- Full-time
- Night shifts
- Work a 6 on / 9 off schedule
- 144 12-hour shifts per year with extra shifts available
- EMR: EPIC
