Locums - Kotzebue, Alaska, Primary Care/Emergency Triage Nurse Practitioner Job

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible family nurse practitioner
- Any state license is accepted
- Assignments must be at least a minimum of a month; looking for providers who can commit to several assignments a year
- Credentialing can be done in under a month
- You’d travel to villages by a fixed-wing aircraft
- 1-2 community health aids, receptionist, dental health aide
- Medivac available for urgent needs
- Your duties would involve providing routine and emergency ambulatory and preventative care services, treatment of routine illnesses (all ages), management of chronic health problems, suturing/casting, and much more
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred, not required
- Must be comfortable working in remote locations with limited, if any, internet and cell phone connectivity
- Locations that range in size from 115 people to 890 – you may be the only one in the clinic at any given time
