Psychiatrist – Inpatient Role with Research Involvement
Location: Boynton Beach
Start Date: Within 90 days

Clinical Role

1. Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time position
2. Inpatient-based role
3. Current inpatient census in the 40s, with plans for significant growth by year-end
4. Collaborative care model with:
   1. Another psychiatrist
   2. Psychiatric midlevel
   3. Medical staff handling H&Ps and follow-ups
5. Patient-facing role with a light medical directorship component
6. Research involvement is essential:
   1. Candidates must have Principal Investigator (PI) experience or substantial Sub-Investigator experience
   2. Opportunity to participate in pharmaceutical research trials as PI or Sub-I
7. Supported by an experienced Medical Director providing on-site guidance

Workflow & Schedule

1. Schedule is task-based, not shift-based
2. Typical workday averages 6–8 hours; extended (12-hour) days are not expected
3. Until research ramps up:
   1. Physicians complete all evaluations and some follow-ups at a single site
   2. Approximately 20 patients per day is standard
4. As research activity increases:
   1. Clinical volume will decrease accordingly
   2. Long-term expectation is to primarily work at one site, with minimal cross-coverage as needed

Important: Candidates without meaningful PI or Sub-I research experience will not be considered. Organization Information

1. Physician-owned psychiatry group with a multi-state presence
2. Strong administrative and clinical infrastructure
3. Compensation: Flexible based on experience and research background
   1. Target range: $300,000–$400,000 (full-time, 5 days a week)
