The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive mental health services for children and adults, including psychological testing, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. This role collaborates closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to deliver integrated behavioral health care.
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing using standardized tools for children and adults
- Provide individual and group therapy, including intake assessments and treatment planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans specifying frequency, type, and duration of therapy
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed
- Consult with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary staff on clinical care
- Maintain compliance with agency MOUs and assessment protocols
- Train and supervise psychology interns and students
- Participate in program development, research, and clinical meetings
- Ensure timely completion of documentation and billing (same-day entry)
- Maintain a minimum of 80% productivity monthly
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Expertise in clinical and developmental psychology, psychotherapeutic methods, and testing interpretation
- Ability to administer, score, and analyze psychological assessments (intelligence, cognitive, personality)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
- Proficiency with EMR and basic office software (Word, Excel, Internet applications)
- Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution
- 2–4 years of relevant clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Board Certified: Required
- Active Georgia License: Required
- Must be comfortable seeing all ages (child and adult testing and therapy)
- Primarily office-based, temperature-controlled environment
- Occasional evenings or weekends
- Possible exposure to behavioral crises or infectious materials
- Base Salary: Starting at $110,000
- Relocation Assistance:
- $10,000 (out-of-state)
- $5,000 (in-state)
- Paid 50% at signing, 50% at start
- Compensation Model: Production-based (similar to RVU model) – high earning potential
- Vacation:
- 3 weeks (Years 1–2)
- 4 weeks (Years 3–5)
- 5 weeks (6+ years)
- Sick Leave: 10 days/year (accrued up to 480 hours)
- CME:
- 5 days (Years 1–5)
- 8 days (6+ years)
- $3,500 annual CME/licensure/society dues allowance
- Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision
- Life Insurance: $50,000 employer-paid + supplemental options
- Disability:
- STD (Employer paid; $700/week for 22 weeks, 31-day exclusion)
- LTD (Employee paid; 60% of pay up to $9,250/month, 180-day exclusion)
- Retirement: 403(b) plan with 2% employer contribution + 3% match after 1 year
- Malpractice: FTCA coverage
- Loan Repayment: NHSC-eligible site (HPSA score: 24)
