• BC in Radiology – Required
• Mammography BC – Required

Certifications

• BLS – Required
• DEA – Required

Experience Required

• ABUS
• MRI biopsies
• Reading MRIs
• Diagnostic mammography
• Screening mammography
• Breast ultrasound biopsies
• Screening whole breast ultrasound
• General biopsies
• Cerner EMR experience

Dates of Need

• January: 19–23, 26–30
• February: 9–13, 16–20

Clinical Scope & Expectations
Daily Volume

• Average reads expected for locums: 70–80 per day
• Permanent radiologists read approx. 100/day
• Average daily census: 18 patients per day

Procedures (Approx.)

• 7 procedures/day
• 4–5 biopsies/day

Case Mix Includes

• ER general radiology coverage
• Occasional basic fluoroscopy
• MRI reads
• MRI biopsies
• Diagnostic & screening mammography (Hologic)
• Breast ultrasound (incl. biopsies)
• Whole breast screening ultrasound

Technology

• EMR: Cerner
• PACS: Phillips
• Mammography: Hologic
