Locums – Non-Invasive Cardiologist | Richmond, Virginia

Dates Needed
ASAP – Until permanent physician is onboarded

Schedule & Clinical Details

• Day shifts, Monday–Friday

• 8-hour shifts

• Weekend call: rotating

• Night + weekend call: rotating

• Practice setting: inpatient, call, outpatient, clinic

• Reason for need: additional physician support during recruitment

• Call Ratio: 1:6

• Clinic patients per day: ~10

• Inpatient admissions per physician per day: 12–15

• Physicians in group: 1

• Other cardiologists present during locum coverage: Yes

• Supervising responsibilities: Yes – must supervise 4 APCs

• Patient population: Adult/Geriatric

• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified – Required

• (Advanced Heart Failure; provider will NOT perform invasive procedures)

• ACLS – Required

• Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience – Required

• Local provider – Required

• DEA – Required

• Active VA License – Required

• Temps available for providers with clean background – Required
