Locums Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Site is open to Locum to Perm candidates

Availability & Coverage Dates (High Priority)

Dates Needed:

• March: 12, 13, 17, 22, 23

• April: 10, 21, 27

• May: 8, 24, 26

• June: 5

Orientation: Ideally arrives one day prior to first shift

Schedule & Call Expectations

• Shift Type: 24-hour in-house coverage

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM

• Call Coverage:

  • No separate call

  • Full shift is in-person, in-house

• Call Type: None (in-house coverage only)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assigned rounding patients

• Full midwifery coverage including:

  • Pregnancy, labor, and delivery

  • Postpartum care

  • Gynecologic care

  • Care of well newborns (first 28 days of life)

• May admit patients under MD consult

• May provide care in intensive care settings per unit policy

• Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of emergent patients per medical staff policy

Licensure Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania License OR IMLC – Required

Board Status

• Board Certified or Board Eligible CNM – Required

Facility Details

• Trauma Level: I

• EMR: Epic

• Rounding: Assigned patients only
